About a year ago we had no clue on what dog food to buy our dog, so I went out and bought pedigree chunks in jelly as it seemed to look good, all over the TV and online.
So at the time I thought that it was a brilliant dog food, but since then I’ve researched about the best dog foods and what is dog food fillers.
So Pedigree is suitable for all breed of dogs from 12 months until about 7 years old.
The ingredients list is: Meat and Animal Derivatives (45%, Including 4% Chicken, fresh meat), Cereals, Derivatives of Vegetable Origin, Origin in dog food (0.5% Dried Sugar Beet Pulp), Oils and Fats (0.5% Sunflower Oil), Minerals Protein 7%, Fat 6%, Inorganic Matter 2.5%, Crude Fibre 0.8%, Moisture 81%.
Pricing: 385g cans RRP £0.59, Cost per day £1.44
I would not recommend this food now after seeing the ingredients list…Would you let your dog eat this?
