I am an owner of two Miniature Schnauzers who have no medical problems or allergies. Olive is 2 years and 11 months and Doris is 6 months old. At the moment we are on the hunt to find a great brand of dog food that my dogs love, my two dogs are fussy and will turn their noses up to anything if they don’t like it. So I enquired for some samples.
So I requested for a small sample of dog food from Lily’s Kitchen. We received 2 trays of wet dog food: Sunday Lunch 150g and Chicken & Turkey casserole 150g. Then they also sent 2 sample packets of chicken and duck dry dog food. As we did not pay for the samples we thought it would just come in an ordinary cardboard box, but no it came in the merchandise box with Lily’s Kitchen written all over it! We loved the little touches.
How much the dogs liked the food: 7/10 – They wolfed the food down, they enjoyed it so much and the smell that came off the food was to die for. The wet food was a smooth paste and the dry food was like counters flat and small ish’.
Bowel movements: It made the dogs bowel movements slightly soft but this cleared up in a few days after. How easy the food was to prep and feed: 9/10 – Was super easy and the trays had a guideline on the back for how much to feed.
How easy it is to store: You can keep it in the original bag or transfer into a tub or storage container. Keep the wet dog food in the fridge after opening. “Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.”
Price/Value for money: 8/10 – It’s a great dog food for the price: For a 150g tray it’s £1.10, for a 1kg bag it’s £7.50, for a 2.5kg bag it’s £18.00, for a 7kg bag it’s £46.00 and for a 12kg bag it’s £69.99. I would recommend Lily’s Kitchen to other dog owners.
