I am a owner of two Miniature Schnauzers who have no medical problems or allergies. Olive is 2 years and 11 months and Doris is 6 months old. At the moment we are on the hunt to find a great brand of dog food that my dogs love, my two dogs are fussy and will turn their noses up to anything if they dont like it. So I enquired for some samples.
As I requested for some dry dog food, we was happily given 9 packets of dry Vitalin dog food (3 packets each dog). When they arrived they looked very appealing to the eye, the logo stood out very well. Three flavours arrived: Chicken and potato, Duck and potato, Lamb and rice.
How much the dogs liked the food: 8/10 - The food went down well. They seemed to really like it, they have not turned their nose up at this food like they would they would other 'top quality' brands. There is no flaws to this brand of dry dog food.
Bowel Movements: 7/10 – Their bowl movements have not changed, except Doris seemed to have 1 day where it was slightly soft but got back to normal quickly.
How easy the food was to prepare and feed: 10/10 – They are the easiest things as it’s just a big bag (or well for me it was a small bag) and you scoop it out and pop it into the dog bowls.
How easy it is to store: You can keep it in the original bag or transfer into a tub or storage container. “Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.”
Price/Value for money: 8/10 – It’s a great dog food for the price: For a 2kg bag it’s £8.99, for a 6kg bag it’s £22.99 and for a 12kg bag it’s £39.99. I would never fault this product and would definitely recommend to other dog owners.
